A lovely 12 month mature West Country cheddar. Strong creamy flavour. Encased in black wax to preserve its freshness. Best Before April 2023.
Made by Lyburn Cheesemakers in the New Forest especially for james's cheese. Matured for 3/4 months. A washed rind cheese giving the cheese a nutty/earthy flavour. Best before end February.
Made by the Davies family not far from Sturminster Newton using milk from their own herd of cows. Matured for 2-3 months. Strong blue flavour with a nice salty background. Best before end February.
“the black pepper one“ Soft cows milk cheese with cracked black pepper throughout with a dusting of pepper on the top. Soft and spreadable at room temperature with lovely herby notes. Best Before end February.
”the crushed chilli one“ Soft cows milk cheese with crushed chilli throughout. Not too hard, just a nice background heat. Best Before end February.
All this months cheeses are made using pasteurised milk and vegetarian rennet.
