Made by Lyburn Cheesemakers in the New Forest exclusively for james's. Taken at 2/3 days old and matured for 2-3 months by James. A washed rind cheese with a pungent aroma. Strong meaty flavour with a nice salty background. Best before end Feb.
“the garlic and chive one“ Soft cows milk cheese with garlic and chives. Soft and spreadable at room temperature. Best Before mid Feb.
”the chilli one“ Soft cows milk cheese with crushed chilli throughout with a dusting of paprika. Not too chilli strong but a lovely subtle spicy warmth. Best Before mid Feb.
All this months cheeses are made using pasteurised milk and vegetarian rennet.
